Food Review: Kuru Kuru Japanese Restaurant | Blending our lives ...

Kuru Kuru Japanese Restaurant is located at Valley Point Shopping Centre at River Valley Road. Kuru Kuru means round and round in Japanese.

Kuru Kuru Japanese restaurant?offers a range of traditional Japanese favourites on its menu to complete your dining experience. This includes sashimi, sushi, grilled food, fried food, rice, appetizers, desserts, drinks and noodle dishes.

They also have ?value for money champion? is an a-la-carte buffet menu with over 137 items available for a fixed price of $26+++ for lunch or $30+++ for dinner for adults and $15+++ or $18+++ for children. Children under 1.1 metres in height eat for free.

Kuru Kuru Japanese Restaurant is also famous for its Y?shoku ???(Western Style Japanese food).

I always like to drink green tea when I visit Japanese Restaurant. It is good for our health and great to accompany while eating Japanese food. I do like their service on topping up the customer?s green tea supply in Kuru Kuru.

Tried out a few of the appetizers from Kuru Kuru. I do like Baby Octopus and Peach with Mixed Salad. Peach with Mixed Salad tasted sweet. I will recommend that people can try Peach with Mixed Salad.

Sliced Raw Food??? (Sashimi):

Assorted platter with a few different types of raw fish slices (??sashimi).

To me, every Japanese meal, everybody should eat some raw fish slices dipped with wasabi and soy sauce. According to Kuru Kuru, their soy sauce is stirred with wasabi to have a certain degree of spiciness.

It will be good to order assorted platter with a few different types of raw fish slices.

This was my 1st time eating Yellow tail. Quite nice to eat.

Soup with assorted vegetables and mushrooms was tasty with some degree of saltiness from the ingredients.

I love Japanese Curry with rice. Japanese Curry tasted sweet and I like it very much. If you love to eat Japanese Curry, I will recommend that you can try Japanese Curry with Rice with any other ingredients.

Y?shoku ?? (Western Style Japanese Food):

Yes, Kuru Kuru is famous for its Y?shoku ??. So it is a must to try at least 1 of their Y?shoku ???dishes. I do love cheese and when I tasted scallops with cod roe & cheese, it was so great.

Sushi rolls:

Mat sushi roll (??Crispy Salmon Skin, ??????????? Soft Shell Crab with Wasabi Mayo, ???????Crabstick w Avocado & tuna with cheese)

I love to eat sushi mat rolls. I did quite like crispy salmon skin sushi roll. I had never try that before. It tasted great as well as the other sushi mat rolls too.

Handrolls:

I never tried soft shell crab handroll before. I tasted the soft shell crab handroll and it tasted great. Quite crispy and they put some mayo sauce to make the handroll tasted so great.

Tempura:

Prawn tempura tasted quite soft and chewy. However, the eggplant tempura was still okay.

Grilled Food (Yakimono):

I love to eat Grilled Chicken with Teriyaki sauce. Teriyaki sauce tasted sweet.

This is my 1st time eating this Capelin. It is quite small. When I 1st bited this, there were quite a lot of fish eggs inside. The bones were soft and chewable.

I love Grilled Mackerel. Quite crispy and tender. No bones. People should try this.

Chawanmushi (Japanese Steamed Egg Custard) is okay.

Desserts:

I tried Green Tea ice cream with red bean. It tasted great and refreshing.

For desserts, it is good to try something sweet and nice.

My overall experience of dining at Kuru Kuru Japanese Restaurant is good. Staff are quite nice and friendly. ?Good service. And great dishes.

I would recommend people to try Soft Shell Crab with?Wasabi Mayo handroll, crispy salmon skin mat roll sushi and soft shell crab sushi rolls, assorted platter for fish slices, prawn tempura,?scallops with Cod Roe?& Cheese, Grilled mackerel and?Green Tea ice cream or Yuzu sorbet along with Green tea.

Of course, there are many more wonderful dishes that Kuru Kuru is offering as well in the menu for people to consider to try.

Do note that $5 will be charge for per every 100gm of wastage. So I do not encourage people to waste food.
